Silver Filigree Teardrop Earrings
STUNNING! Who knew recycled could be so beautiful! From the broken remains of vintage 1930's ice blue mason jars come these lovely filigree teardrop earrings. Glass has been reclaimed from these habitats, pounded down and sparkes inside the pretty filigree setting. Filigree pattern is all around allowing light to pass through and illuminate the glass (and the person wearing them).
Available in a beautiful rainbow of colors including:
cobalt from broken Noxzema bottles
ruby from 1940's ruby beer bottles
green from vintage beer bottles
white from Cold Cream bottles
black from black depression glass
ice blue from mason jars
amethyst from antique medicine bottles
amber, from vintage beer bottles
Teardrops are silver plated brass, ear wires are surgical steel. Total hang length, approx. 1 1/2".
Each piece includes "The Story of the Glass" detailing the history behind each piece and the age of the glass used.
